This may be clarification of a whether a facial representation relates to a living individual, the meaning of foreign language words or characters, or the what initials represent.

Restriction A restriction is a requirement by an examiner that occurs when a single application has more than one independent and distinct invention.

Right of priority of an application Patent applications when filed around the world create a priority date that can by claimed benefit of by later-filed applications in other countries.
