Undue experimentation The enablement requirement requires the inventor to disclose how to make the invention without undue experimentation. Undue experimentation would not allow a person skilled in the art to make and use the invention without great difficulty.

United States Code (U.S.C.) The United States Code is a codification of the statutory laws of the United States. Section 35 refers to laws governing patents, Section 17 to trademarks and Section 15 to copyrights.

Utility For a patent to issue, the invention must have general usefulness.
